Hi there, Ellen here sharing two fun summer cards featuring the “Transfer Flock” and “Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Designs”.
I’m very thirsty, so let’s get started!
I started with two the backgrounds of my cards. I inkblened some white paper with blue and yellow ink and used some “Transfer Gel Duo” on top.
Using “DecoFoil Transfer Gel Duo” is very easy! Place the stencil on your cardbase and secure it with “Pixie Tape” or “Pixie Spray”. Next you apply the gel using a “Stencil Pal”.
Afterwards you let it dry (it dries completely clear as you can see on the left/yellow cardbase on the picture above). When it’s dry you can use a hot laminator or a die cutting machine to apply the flock (flockside down on the gel).
I assembled the rest of my cards, but stopped when I wanted to add the cocktails. I wanted to use “Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Designs” on top of my a transparency to add a message on my card.
You simply cut the words you want to use and peel the back off of the transfer adhesive. Place it onto your (in this case cocktail chaped) acetate. Run it true a hot laminator and peel the film back leaving just the adhesive (you can see the adhesive ‘hello’ on the right side of the picture on above).
Next you can add different “Deco Foils” over the adhesive and run it through a laminator again. Simply peel of the residue of the foil and,… Tadaa now you do have a foiled piece of transparency (you can see that on the left side of the picture above).
The results are stunning for sure with these “Tropical Sunshine” trees in the background.
The flock and foil makes the cards so much more special without really a big effort! I hope your thirst is quenched and otherwise have a glass and enjoy your day!
