My daughter needed a few new tops to finish out the school year. I knew when I saw the awesome knits from Girl Charlee that she would love some items made from them. Girl Charlee BOLT knit fabrics!
Aurifil Thread 50 wt thread #2625 Grey
1 ½ yards of Main fabric-follow cutting directions in the pattern
¼” yard for coordinating print
1/4 yard HeatnBond® Soft Stretch Lite Interfacing for the yoke.
Simplicity Patter #3790, erasable marking pen, Iron (Oliso Pro), sewing machine, sharp scissors, other general sewing supplies
Sweet Deer Top Instructions:
Following the package instructions, fuse one of the yoke piece with the HeatnBond® Soft Stretch Lite Interfacing to the wrong side of one of the yoke pieces. Sew according the pattern instructions. This interfacing is perfect for keeping your knits smooth while continuing to keep its stretch.
Following the package instructions, fuse the HeatnBond® Soft Stretch Lite Roll to the edge of wrong side of the neck, sleeve and hem edges. Peel the paper backing off and fold over and top stitch in place. This interfacing gives your hems a nice crisp clean finish and it doesn’t gunk up your sewing machine needles in the process.
