Year after year we carry on a tradition to add a handmade ornament to our tree.

Between school projects and time in the craft room, our ornament collection get new additions each and every year.

This year, use a few of your favorite crafting favorites to create an ornament to hang on your tree. Each year your unpack those holiday boxes and pull out your handmade ornaments it is like a step back in time by remembering what products you used, your crafting style and colors.

Here is a little addition of mine…

1.  Begin by finding a chipboard piece that can start your ornament base.  Using your Therm O Web tape runner adhesive, adhere paper to the front/back.     glue

2.  Use your 3D Zot Singles to add dimension/layers to your ornament.  Tip: Stack two on top of each other for adding more height.

3.  Continue to layer your ornament using 3D Zots.000_0011

4.  Use a touch of Glitter Dust to your ornament layers or as I have shown here, the bell.  I found these last year at a discount store and they needed a little sparkle.  Add this to the bottom of the ornament.000_0013

5.  Add ribbon and string to the top of the ornament.

What do you have in store for your handmade ornaments/decorations this year?

Love this ornament! I really like the little bell at the bottom. I just found a pkg of those and didn’t know what to do with them. I’ll file this idea away for next year. TFS
