Hello Therm-O-Web friends. Shemaine here today sharing a fun idea to step up your Alpha dies using hot foil plates and our new hot foils. I love using die-cut letters to create my own sentiments.

I love using die-cut letters to create my own sentiments. I though it would be fun to add a design to them so I chose a leaf background hot foil die from Spellbinders and some navy cardstock.

I chose the gold unicorn hot foil to create the pattern on the cardstock. Using hot foil dies is easy and fun.

Then using some alpha dies in my stash, I cut out the letters to spell ALOHA out of the hot foiled design. The great thing about this tip is you can use any hot foil dye background to transform your die-cut letters. I also used a foliage-inspired embossing folder to transform the plain white background into an embossed folder that complimented the letter dies.

Using some spellbinder leaf dies, I added some foliage to my design.

To finish off the card, I added some die-cut flowers from Spellbinders and some bling from Pretty Pink Posh. I adhered them to my card base using our

The finished card is a fun way to say Hello to my island friends we’ll be visiting this August on the Big Island of Hawaii.

For the second card, I used our Lucky Green hot foil and the same background hot foil plate on some coordinating green cardstock.

For this design, I replaced the O with this fun die-cut Flamingo for a tropical vibe.
