Holiday Cards with Therm O Web and BasicGrey

The holidays will be here before we know it, so now is the perfect time to get a jump start on your holiday card making. Today I’m going to share several fun card ideas using the adorable Evergreen collection by BasicGrey, our product partners here on the Therm O Web blog this week. To start out with, a pretty green and blue design in a bit of a non-traditional color palette.

I love the look of lots of layers of patterned papers, so for this design I used a mix of papers for an easy pieced background, followed by layers of journaling cards and chipboard shapes. I used 3D adhesive squares to adhere the chipboard sentiment for a bit of extra depth and dimension. A bit of simple white cord finishes things off.

My second card features a pretty aqua and red color combo, set off by one of our fabulous new Glitter Dust™ Deco Frames.

I added BasicGrey Candy Buttons to this one, and a layer of soft cotton batting for extra texture. Once again, 3D Adhesive squares between the layers helps set them all apart.

And finally, I put together a fun gift tag using more papers from the 6×6 Paper Pad along with another pretty 3×4 Snippets card. And once again, I added one of our Glitter Dust™ Deco Frames, this time one of the Polaroid-style frames in silver.
