Hello Therm-O-Web fans! Shemaine here today sharing a few cards I made with our Toner Card fronts and some digital stamps. Next month, February 4th is World Cancer Day so I created some cards with a few cancer awareness stamps by Unity Stamp Company.

Cancer Awareness Cards by Shemaine Smith

To get the digital image on the card, I used a bit of our XL adhesive runner on the back of the Toner Card front to hold it on a sheet of printer paper. Then I hit print for the image.

As you can see the digital image transfered right onto the toner card front.

Next using our Deco Foil Black Onyx transfer foil, I run the image thru my Gina K Fuse.

The resuly resembles an embossed image like you get when you use embossing powder. Isn’t that great?

Next I color my image with Copic markers and then prepare a card base using some of our Plush Papers in Think Pink with one of the dies I have chosen.

Next, I used an oval die cut to make the foiled digital image the center of the card and finish with a sentiment.

Here is the finished card. I think this technique is really fun and several digital images could be used. The foiled love and the digital imaged merged together make the card interesting to look at but not too busy. What do you think?

For the second card, I decided to print a digital background onto our Think Pink Plush papers. I just centered the sheet on the printer paper and pressed print.

The toner ink is easily printed right onto the plush paper. I took a piece of the black onyx Deco Foil transfer sheet and placed it over it to run it through my Gina K Fuse machine. Unfortunately, I did not get the transfer that I was hoping for but I did get some and the heat set the ink so the image would not smear. I was happy with how it turned out.

so using another of the card front backgrounds and some Gina K twinkling pink foil, I foiled to toner card front and cut down the plush  paper to layer with black cardstock.

Adding a cute Diamond Press heart chain die and I changed my mind about the sentiment. I ended up using a die cut with a shadow layer to finish the card.

Here are both cards that I will be mailing to a few friends who are fighting cancer right now.
