Hello everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by today. This is Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook. I created a pair of cards using one of the new Cheers Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Sheets. These drink cups and the fun sentiments are hard to resist and I loved the first design so much that I created a second easily with the extra cups I had left over.

Products used:
Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Sheets
Deco Foil Transfer – Mystic Rainbow, Pink Melon and Teal
3D Foam tape
Craft & Carrier Sheets
Ultrabond liquid glue
Distress Oxide Ink – squeezed lemonade, salvaged patina, dried marigold and abandoned coral
Trinity Stamps Fortune Teller Baubles

Cheers to Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Cards

I had the design for the slimline card in my head so I started by trimming out all of the cups from the adhesive transfer sheet. Then as I started arranging them on the panel, I had extras so I spaced them out and decided to make two cards at once. When I figured out where I wanted everything, I picked them up one at a time and removed the backing paper and stuck them in place.

I placed the cardstock in a craft & carrier sheet and ran them both through my laminator. Then I removed the top acetate sheet from each cup. Here you can see where I’ve removed the one on the right and there is a faint glow of the adhesive left behind. This way you know it worked.

Next, I trimmed strips of mystic rainbow deco foil transfer, laid them on top of the adhesive and ran both sheets through the laminator again. I just love peeling foil away. Don’t you? It’s super satisfying. Lol.

Then I cut a couple pieces of white cardstock to go as borders. They’re both bigger than I need so I can trim them down. I used salvaged patina with squeezed lemonade on the slimline and dried marigold with abandoned coral on the A2 panel. I spritzed the panels with water and let them dry.

When they were completely dry, I added adhesive transfer sentiments to them and started the process all over again. This time I added pink melon and teal deco foil to coordinate with the color schemes of each card. I added 1/4 inch strips of black cardstock to the edge of each panel before adhering them to the foiled panels with foam tape.

Isn’t this card so fun!?! I love the slimline dancing cups and that great sentiment! It’s versatile for so many occasions. I finished the design off with some baubles that are clear with an opal sheen so they mimic the foil in the light. I really like them!

Here’s a look at the A2 card tilted in the light too. I added the same baubles but this time around all the cups instead of the sentiments. I think this looks really fun too!

I hope you enjoyed today’s projects. I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

How do you do this foil adhesive transfer technique?

Patsy…the Deco Foil Adhesive Transfers work with pressure or with heat from a laminator. Here’s where you can learn more about how to use them.
