Hi Everyone!

We would like to welcome our Sew Daily readers to our blog!  In honor of all you stitchers, sewers, and quilters…here’s a beautiful baby quilt created by our design team member, Jenifer Cowles! We all know little girls are made of sugar and spice…but also wings and a pinch of fairy dust!

This beautiful quilt features our new spray adhesive, SpraynBond Basting Adhesive, to make quick work of the design and applique work! Simply spray the backs of the butterflies and then arrange your quilt. If you don’t like the placement of some of the butterflies, simply move them! After you have the arrangement where you like, sew them into place. The adhesive will actually wash out of the material when you launder the quilt.

    I found you through Sew Daily email that I receive. I am really interested in the spray and bond technique for applique. Looks like a winner…would love to try it. Currently, I use a glue dot technique, but the glue always gets messy. Thanks for the chance to win.

    I love butterflies, most everyone knows this! I can see so many ways I can use your design on other items — towels, cards, scrapbooking, tote bags (just to name a few!). So happy I found your site!

    i really like working with my hands because i get more satisfaction out of my work, be it quilting, collage or papier mache’. i’ve recently become enchanted with english paper piecing and want to learn more hand skills by making a pieced runner using the hexagon shape. i really like applique and have always liked the needle turned method. but since seeing all of the different bonding products from therm o web i just might change my mind and try an easier and perhaps more presice way of appliqueing. in any case, thanks for the information on the therm o web products.
