Thanks So Much Card

I started my cards by stamping them with Versafine Black Onyx ink and then using clear embossing powder and a heat tool to set the ink. Then I used Copic markers to color.

Using the coordinating die cuts for this set, I cut out the images.

Next using the Plaid Stencil set, I applied Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco and let it dry.

Using the same stencil I inked up another sheet of cardstock.

Using the second stencil in the set, I also used the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco to create a contrasting design.

Next, I let the transfer gel dry.

Using one of the floral designs from the toner card fronts paired with Lime Citron I foiled this for my background.

Next using my favorite Oval die set from Gina Marie Designs, I cut the cardstock I inked with the stencil design.

To add some texture to the background, I embossed it with this plaid design die.

Next using Therm-O-Web’s foam squares I mounted the die-cut on the card base.

Using the same foam squares, I mounted the die-cut flowers.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock with white ink from Gina K. Designs.

I finished my card off with the sentiment.

Get Well Card

For the second card, after the Transfer Gel Blanco dried, I foiled the design.

I stamped some more of the images and colored them in.

Using our 3D foam squares. I adhere the die-cut to the front.

And then adhered the die-cut daffodils.

Here’s my finished card.

I really enjoyed making these cards and want to thank Newton’s Nook for collabing with us once again for a fun week!

The plaid background with the slim foiled stripes is absolutely stunning! I will need to get that stencil set!
