Hello Therm-O-Web friends! It’s Trick or Treat week and we’ve been scaring up some fun projects for you here on the blog this week. Today’s cards are featuring our Deco Flock and Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer sheet sentiments.
Spooktacular Halloween Cards with Deco Flock and Adhesive Transfers
I started the card by using some stencils from Pretty Pink Posh to create a fun background.
First, I used Versamark to ink the star stencil
and gold embossing powder, and a heat tool.
Using Distress Oxide inks, I created the background colors.
Next, I used the bat stencil and Deco Foil transfer gel.
After applying the transfer gel I let it dry while I stamped and colored my image.
Once the transfer gel dried, I cut a piece of the Black Velvet Flock Transfer sheet
Placed it over the image and ran it thru the laminator in a carrier sheet.
The result is perfect velvet bats on my background.
Next, using Deco Foil and my laminator, I foiled to toner card sentiment.
And using the coordinating die, cut it out.
Using the Purple Deco Flock, I cut out the die cut sentiment.
Stamping and embossing this cute Pretty Pink Posh image, I colored it with Copic Markers
And used a coordinating die to cut it out.
I adhered to the sentiment and stamped the image to the card base with our 3D Foam squares.
The result is a fun Halloween card! Those bats really pop off the card base with the Deco Flock.
For the second card, I used the Black Velvet Deco Flock and the spider web die from Pretty Pink Posh as well as the Wonky Stitched rectangle die.
Next using the toner card front sentiment I foiled it with the same coordinating foil.
I adhered the flocked spider web, stamped the sentiment, and foiled the toner card front with our 3D foam squares.
This card came together very quickly and the Deco Flock stands out.
