Hello! This is Ellen and I am on the blog today to share with you two pretty foiled shaped Christmas cards.

We are getting really close to Christmas, so I am still busy making the last cards.

I often associate Christmas with glitter and sparkles. Fancy foils are therefore ideal for showing these sparkles on our cards. Now that I’m talking about beautiful foils, I have to show you how I used them…

I transferred two different colors (Sparkling Silver and Radiant Red) onto the ‘Chic Chevrons’ (kraft) Toner Card Front. I’m using a Hot laminator for it. Later I did cut these foiled backgrounds in different shapes.

It’s great that we have these toner sheets in both kraft and white and even more fun is that they are on sale at the moment I’m writing this post.

Afterwards I also added soft elements to these shapes (flock). Flock is no longer in our store, but we have something new and exciting ‘Plush Paper’. This would work the same as flock, but is an even better version of it. I would use the ‘Deco Foil Plush Paper, White Latte‘ for this.

I can’t wait for my mailbox to finally deliver these long-awaited new products!!

The card base is finished now, but the cards still need to be decorated.

First of all, I have cut out two shapes on which I used ‘Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Designs’ (Love & Kisses & Just Numbers). I then added more foil for even more fun. Next I stick all the elements on my card including the elves with foam and liquid glue from ThermOWeb.

As a final step I glued enamel dots onto the card with the ‘Zots Clear Adhesive Dots.
