Welcome back!  I’ve got a couple cards for you today using digital stamps with foil and a couple different mediums!  This first one is using the Camel Trio digital set from Angie Blom and the Candle background!

I started by printing the candle background onto a Mixed Media Adhesive Sheet and added rainbow foil with my laminator.  Then I die cut it with a scallop border die, smooshed some Distress Oxides onto my Gel Press, spritzed it with water and laid the candle panel over it for a pretty watercolor look.  After it dried, I sprayed on some Iridescent Glitter Dust.  For this one I decided to peel off the adhesive backing and add it to a piece of cardstock cut with the same die just for more stability since it would be the base of my card.

I printed one of the camels from the set (of course I picked the one with a crown!) onto Copic friendly paper, foiled it in Copper and colored her up.

I printed one of the sentiments from the set onto some Clear Designer Toner sheets and foiled it in Copper with my laminator.

I fussy cut it out and added just a couple spots of glue to the edges and attached it to the card.

I cut the frame from a foiled toner sheet.  I cut the frame from the center and then decided to use what was left as a mat for a foil layer.  I added adhesive with the Tape Runner to the back of the scrap of foil and then added it to a white 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of white cardstock leaving a 1/8″ border.

I just love that little bit of foil around the edges that matches the frame and the foil on my image… and check out those pretty rainbow candles!

And of course I made a shaker!  When I printed the sentiment from my camel set onto the Clear Designer Toner Sheets, I also put together the feathers and sentiment for this one to use up as much of the sheet with one pass as possible.  I have more leftover printed pieces to use in the future!

I foiled the images on the Clear sheet in Glimmering Gold…

I had some extra foil on the sheet that was obvious because of the fine lines of this image. You can use an extra soft brush and gently brush it away so your image is clearer!

I printed one feather onto some more of the Mixed Media paper, foiled it in Rainbow colors and fussy cut it out.

I trimmed the clear sheet down so that I could adhere it to my scalloped frame and.  I added Shaker Strips to the inside of the frame to create the shaker window.

I added some Distress Oxide in a color that matched my base to my fussy cut feather and when it was dry, peeled off the adhesive back and adhered it to the top of the panel.

I am loving these Mixed Media adhesive sheets!  I’ve got some more ideas to use them so you may see them again soon!

I loved mixing the gold and copper with the rainbow for these two cards!

Just a reminder that when you’re printing digital images that you want to add foil to you must print them on a laser printer because it’s Toner that the foil will stick to.

And have fun!  I’m already planning my next project using those Mixed Media Sheets! Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!
