Hello crafters, it’s Ellen here with you! Today I will show you two different ways to use flock.
Magical Cards with Deco Foil Flock
You can add flock by using Deco Foil Transfer Gel OR Foam Adhesive Sheet.
Let me start with the card and using adhesive foam sheets.
First I do cut adhesive foam sheets a bit larger than the size of my die. Next, I cut out a piece of my flock a little bigger than the foam we just did cut out. When you have done that you peel off the paper liner from the foam and place the flock (color side facedown) on the exposed adhesive. Next, you use your manual die-cutting machine to apply pressure. Peel away the flocked sheet from the foam design and cut the flocked foam with your dies (on the example I used clouds, stars and a banner.
Did you know you can stamp on flock? It’s easy to do that and it’s so much fun too!
On the tag, I used the Flock with Deco Foil Transfer Gel.
When you use the gel, the best is to use a stencil. First I gave the background colored with ink. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and placed it on top of the inked background. use the Stencil Pall to apply the Transfer Gel Duo. When it’s completely clear, you know it’s dry. Then you cut a piece of flock slightly larger than the background. Place design (faced colored side of flock onto the dry gel). Then you place the project inside folded piece and run it through a hot laminator (once or twice).
It’s so much fun to use the flock in different ways! You should try it.
