Welcome back!  We’re all about Spring flowers this week here on the Therm O Web blog!  I’ve got three cards for you today with lots of Spring time inspiration… like this one using the flowers from the Brutus Monroe Magical Monarch stamp and dies.

I started this one with one of the great Toner Card Fronts from the Brutus Monroe Really Radiant Pack.  I added some Wild Dandelion Deco Foil and then blended light rainbow colors with Distress Oxides over the top.  A quick wipe down with a dry paper towel brought the shine back to the panel!

I stamped, cut and colored the flowers from the Magical Monarch set and die cut a fence and some grass.  I also foiled some toner paper and die cut some small butterflies from it.

I used the Gina K Follow Your Dreams Adhesive Transfers for my sentiment.  I foiled the sentinment in two different colors.  I transferred the whole sentiment onto white cardstock by running it through my die cut machine and then laid Wild Dandelion foil over the Friend and Passionate Pink foil over the Hello and ran it through again to adhere the foil.

I die cut the sentiment out and then added all of the elements using varying thickness of foam tape as well as liquid adhesive including a splattering of butterflies and a few sequins.

Next I created a fun background using leftovers from my last bunch of cards here on the blog!  The negative sheet from foiling the background for my chipmunk card made a great background for this one!

First, I used the negative sheet and ran it through my laminator with some toner paper… pretty just like that!  But instead of the black toner lines, I wanted a different color.. so….

I ran it through again with some Green Grass Deco Foil and…

So cool right!  Running the piece through a second time does dull some of the shine of the foil, but I love it just the same.. in fact maybe even more!  And now I have another negative piece to use!  (It’s the neverending story and I love it!)  I splattered some paints over the top and then layered the panel onto some green and then white.

For this one I decided an encouraging sentiment from Unity Stamp Co was just the thing.  I stamped it in green and then die cut it out with a larger die from the set I used on my last card and popped it up onto the card.

I cut a butterfly from Magical Monarch dies and some pretty leafy dies from more foiled toner paper in coordinating colors and popped everything up onto the base.

I love how this one turned out!  The double foiling is SO much fun!

And finally a leafy background with some pretty tulips from Waffle Flower!

I foiled the Toner Card Front from the Brutus Monroe Floral Fantasy pack and then added some green, blue and yellow Distress Oxides.  I splattered some paint over this one too.

I decided to spray some gold Glitter Dust over the panel AND over my colored images too!  It left a really pretty sheen over my flowers.

I cut a pretty Hero Arts frame from some foiled toner paper and then used one of the sentiments from the Unity Stamp Co Blooming Friendship Adhesive Transfers!  I transferred this one onto some clear acetate, foiled it in gold and then cut it down to a rectangle the size of the sentiment.  I love doing this when I don’t want my sentiment to take up a lot of real estate!

I LOVE how you can lay it right over your other elements and see through it!  And it still let’s lots of my background show.

So that’s me for today!  I hope you enjoyed all of the flowers I shared with you here today!

And I hope maybe I shared something today that you hadn’t thought of before and that it inspires you to get playing with some of your foils and toner papers!

And be sure to come back often for lots more inspiration!  Thank you so much for stopping!
