Whew…it’s been a few whirlwind days for us around here with Quilt Market, Halloween and yes..the Cubs winning the World Series!!!
We wanted to be sure to share with our readers some peeks into Quilt Market as we realize you can’t all be there to see what we do…so let’s take a look at the International Quilt Tradeshow from Houston, Texas!
This year we changing our booth look and boy did we hear amazing compliments over how light and bright and open it was. Plus we were thrilled to work with the beautiful Moda Manderly Fabric collection. It’s amazing when you give a team of designers the same fabrics to create with and come away with a collection of stunning projects…I think we did just that!
Our HeatnBond® Ultrahold wall…showcasing some beautiful hoop designs along with Carol Swift’s beautiful bear quilt and Amy Warner’s Mermaid Pillow!
Our HeatnBond® Lite Fusible Adhesive is on of our most popular products as it’s perfect for applique work as shown on that Stained Glass Butterfly Quilt by Jamie Muller and the bunny and Octopus pillow by Amanda Niederhauser.
And introducing our NEW HeatnBond® Soft Stretch™ Fusible Adhesive in both Lite and Ultra. HeatnBond Soft Stretch™ is a light weight spun-web adhesive specifically designed to move with fabric while maintaing a strong bond. Available in 2 yard packs, 20 yard bolts and tape rolls. It’s the perfect solution when working with fabrics that stretch to give you the same amazing product you know and love with our HeatnBond® but now for stretchable fabrics. Knits, flannels, fleece and minky’s…and other stretch type fabrics will be a perfect match!
Our wall of interfacing…this is our LUXE collection which is for our Independent Retailers. All the same top notch products you enjoy sold only through your favorite store! We really liked that tote by Audrey Yeager and beautiful mini quilt by Carla Henton! Both are featured here on the blog!
Here’s our wall of Notions….products range from our Heatnbond® Interfacings, Hem Tapes, Fabric Fuse™ Liquid Adhesive and Tape, HeatnBond® EZ Print Inkjet Sheets and so much more! Loved that fun frog made by Jennifer Davey and those sweet baby bibs by Alicia Steele.
We had more compliments on these mannequins…. Tamara’s we shared earlier today with some tips on how she used our NEW HeatnBond® Soft Stretch for her applique. Designer Jennifer Cowles shared yesterday how she created the knit skirt with our NEW HeatnBond Soft Stretch and Designer Carolina Moore used My Girl Charlee fabrics to make that adorable baseball style top with appliqued pieces once again using our NEW HeatnBond® Soft Stretch! Look for many of these projects right here on our blog!
And what would Quilt Market be without a little fun?! After all it was over Halloween!!
We hope you enjoyed this peek into Quilt Market and we enjoyed speaking with everyone who stopped by! Look for our HeatnBond® Soft Stretch™ to be available soon!
Be sure to subscribe to our newsletters to keep up to date on new releases and much more!

November 16, 2016 at 3:24 pm (8 years ago)Hi Alicia…you’ll find that Notions, Brewer and Checker will be carrying our new HeatnBond Soft Stretch. And are you referring to our Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive? We do not have a Brother Scan-n-Cut to test on..however here are our suggestion guidelines that may assist you.
