Check out this cool project created by one of our talented Design Team Members – Tammy Tutterow!
It is a sewing tutorial she made for Fiskars showing how to make your own insulated lunch bag! You can use HeatnBond Iron-on Vinyl to protect the fabric and easily wipe the bag clean! Change the size to create make-up bags, and car snack bags too!
Tammy uses our HeatnBond Quilter’s 2″ Grid interfacing to easily cut the pattern and line up the bag! Quilter’s 2″ Grid is a non-woven interfacing with a grid pattern printed on it. It is fusible on one side and can be used for many types of quilt or home decor projects…such as photo mosaic quilts, color blocking, checkerboard patterns and other projects requiring the pieces to be lined up!
HeatnBond Iron-on Vinyl is a flexible plastic that you can iron onto fabric or paper to give it water resistent properties! It is clear, has some UV protection and can easily be sewn thru. It is a great product for making all kinds of totes, aprons, art smocks, placemats, cup cozies and more!
