Hello everyone!! What a fun week here! I saw already super fun projects!! Today it’s my turn to give you inspiration.

4th of July Glitz Glitter Gel Card

I thought it would be a great idea to use Glitz Glitter Gel on top of foil!!! It turned out amazing in my opinion and it’s perfect for a glitter and shimmer week!

I started with my card base; the foiled background. This is made with a toner card front (Candy Stripes). I did trim out the red Transfer Sheet the same size as the Toner Card Front. At the same time, I let my laminator heat up. I placed inside folded parchment paper a piece of foil (shiny side facing up) on top of the Toner Card Front. When the laminator was completely heated up I pushed the sandwich true the machine. As the last step, I peeled off the foil transfer sheet to reveal your foiled design!

While the laminator was hot I did use the Deco Foil Adhesive Transfer Designs (Sentiments 1). Basically, it works the same as a Toner Card Front (explained above), you just have to add an additional step in the beginning. First, you need to cut the desired design element from the sheet of Deco Foil Adhesive Transfers. Carefully peel off the clear bottom liner, position the transfer on your project, printed side up, and lightly press it with your finger to secure it in place (do not rub hard). Place your project inside a folded Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheet and push it true the laminator. Next, you add the foil just as explained above.

As the last step, I added the Glitz Glitter Gel on to my background. I used a star stencil and attached it to the Toner Card Front with Pixie Tape. With a Stencil Pal I applied the Glitz Glitter Gel on top. When you let it dry the card is almost finished.

As the last step, I added the rest of the sentiment and applied it to my card base with 3D Foam. I love the end results!
