Hello Therm-O-Web friends. For this week’s Angel theme I created a card using Deco Foil and Laura Kelly Toner Card Fronts. I’m always looking for ways to create quick card backgrounds and Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts are the perfect way to accomplish that goal.

Paper Pieced Angel Card with Deco Foil

First, I chose some dies from my stash and cut them out with white cardstock. I chose a cute Anna Griffin Angel die as the focal point of my card.  I thought would stand out if I paper-pieced the die by cutting one with white cardstock and another with glitter cardstock. I then cut away the angel wings from the glitter die-cut. Using the Ultra bond liquid adhesive, I cut the wings and halo from the gold cardstock to paper-piece over the white cardstock.

Next, I cut a Spellbinder background die to layer my angel over and added an additional angel cut in white cardstock to layer the paper-pieced angel over to create dimension.

For the card base, I foiled the Laura Kelly Toner Sheet in Sprinkled Stripes with Deco Foil Transfer Foil in Rose Gold.

Next, I cut another die cut from the Spellbinders die set I was using for the sentiment in the matching gold glitter cardstock.

Choosing a sentiment from this set, I stamped it in black ink on a die-cut sentiment strip.

Then I adhered the stamped sentiment over the gold cardstock die-cut.

The finished result is a perfectly foiled elegant holiday greeting.
