Happy New Year! I’ve got three fun cards for you today! I love gold and so my first card uses lots of gold foil and sparkle.
I foiled a toner card front in beautiful Unity Gold foil and die cut it with a scalloped die. Then I foiled a toner sheet in the same gold and cut the Cheers word die from it. I added some white cardstock to a piece of foam adhesive and die cut the Cheers word from it and then glued the gold foiled cheers offset just a bit over the white and adhered it to the card front.
Then I pulled out a Glitter Dust frame and die cut a circle from clear acetate that would fit over the window of the frame. These frames are perfect for shaker elements!
And I love that the back of the frame has adhesive! Just peel off the paper backing and I was able to adhere my acetate directly to it.
Then I added some Shaker Strips to the back. These strips are wide enough to leave plenty of room in your shaker for bits that are a little thicker.
I made some shaker “bits” using the drinks from the Cheers Adhesive Transfers. I peeled off one side of the transfer and adhered it to the acetate. To get a good solid transfer I run it through my die cutting machine.
Then I laid the gold foil over and ran it through the die cutter again. Finally I fussy cut them out.
I decided to back the shaker with vellum since the background is busy and I wanted my shaker pieces to show.
Finally I laid the shaker over the top and then I fussy cut the leftover sheet from the drinks and adhered them to the front of the shaker and I added the numbers to white cardstock and foiled them in black and cut them out so I could adhere them also. If I had leftovers I’d have used them! But I couldn’t find them so the black foil worked just fine!
Then I decided to make some with my second favorite… rainbow!
I used some Magical Shattered Glass to foil a gel print and then used Transfer Gel Duo and that cool Starburst stencil over the top! When it was dry, I ran it through my Fuse with Shattered Glass Rainbow Deco Foil. I also ran some through with a Toner Sheet again so I could cut the Celebrate from it.
Some more numbers… a foiled drink and I used a leftover sentiment from the Cheers set too!
And finally, for this one, I deco foiled a toner card front and die cut the Fiesta from the Same Rainbow Shattered Glass foiled toner sheet as the Celebrate. I just added a few drinks and sequins and done!
This could be great for any celebration!
So that’s me for today! I hope you enjoyed your stop here!
I’m Wishing you and yours all the best in the New Year!
