Simply Sweet

Each Christmas I get my in laws a set of Gingerbread characters since my husband and I have had our kids.  These gifts has ranged from salt and pepper set to figures.  This year I decided that I would make them ornaments that they can have for years to come.

To start this project I bought two ceramic Gingerbread figures and painted them.  It is best to paint the figures with ceramic paint so that the figures take the paint.  This is a perfect project to get kids involved with and they can have fun decorating the figures.

After the figures were painted, I took two iCraft Decofoil Zots- Small and put them on the figures.  Next I took the Brutus Monroe Foil Transfer Sheets- Gold Static and laid a piece on the Zots and rubbed gently with just my finger and then removed the sheet.  But because of the Zot the foil has attached it’s self to the Zots.

This is an easy project to do with anyone of any age.  The best is to separate the Zots and cut up the foil into smaller pieces to easily foil your ornaments. What will you foil today?
