Happy Halloween Cards w/ Deco Foil Hot Foil!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Larissa here today to share a Set of Halloween Shaker Cards SURE to make that Special Someone SMILE in Delight when they take in ALL of the Shine, Sparkle, Texture and Dimension!! This Design is FULL of AMAZING Techniques and I hope it NSPRES you to give them a try!!

I Started by Die Cutting some Patterned Paper and then Hot Foiling the Newton’s Nook Designs Spiderweb Hot Foil Plate with Rose Gold Hot Foil Deco Foil!! SWOON!! I LOVE the results!! I then used some Distress Oxide Inks to Ink over the Foiled Design!! Not only does it make the Spiderweb POP, but it also makes the Embossed Design Stand out!!

Here’s a look at both the panels once they were Inked!! AWESOME Right!!??

Did you know you can EMBOSS your Images while Hot Foiling!!??
TIP: Instead of placing the Paper on top of the Foiling Plate, you place the Paper Down and then the Hot Foil and then the Plate and run it through your Foiling system and it will EMBOSS the Image as well as Hot Foiling the Image!! SQUEAL!! This makes me HEART so HAPPY!!

Here’s a look at the Back of the Panel!! I wanted to show that you also just EMBOSS with these Plates if Hot Foiling isn’t the look you are going for a certain design!! AWESOME too, RIGHT!!??

I then created the Shaker Element using the Taylored Expressions Potion Bottle Die Set!! Then I Die Cut a Vellum Circle and adhered everything to the Card Panel using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!!

I Added a Sentiment and a Glitter Cardstock Die Cut Bat to coordinate with the Patterned Paper!!

Here’s a Close up look at the Shaker Potion Bottle!! I LOVE combining all of these Elements to create a FUN Element!!

I created my Second Card exactly the same way!!

This time I added a Glitter Die Cut Spider to coordinate with the Spiderweb Patterned Paper!!
