Hello Sunshine Scrapbook Layout
by Jessica Michaels
Hello everyone! Jessica here with a layout for Spring Flowers week! Things are certainly blooming over here in Pennsylvania and I’m excited to share this layout with you of my two boys living their best life in a sunflower maze! I’ve used a couple collections paired with deco foil and flock along with the peel n/stick toner sheets for this one!

Peartree Cutfile
I started this layout by pulling out a sheet of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Homegrown collection along with some yellow flock, bronze Deco Foil, a craft and carrier sheet, and some distress inks. I cut my large sunflower cutfile out of the peel n’ stick toner sheet with my electronic cutting machine and it is called the Sunflower Frame by Peartree Cutfiles. I cut it on the Posterboard+ setting, which I have set to double cut. This will cut through all the layers, including the backing. I then pulled that off my cutting mat and sandwiched it between a craft and carrier sheet, laying some bronze Deco Foil on top. I ran that through my hot laminator to transfer the foil to the toner flower. I left the backing on the cutfile to do this.
Next, I ink blended some distress inks towards where the center of my flower will be when laid on top of the yellow flock. Once blended, I peeled the backing off the toner sheet and added some UltraBond Liquid adhesive for some added stickiness since it wasn’t wanting to stick to my flock very well. I then trimmed around my petals and cut out the middle of my flower to place my photo in the center using my Memory Tape Runner XL. I ended up adhering the whole cutfile and photo to my layout using the Jumbo 1/8” Foam Tape Roll so it would pop up off my page.
You can really see the dimension here in this photo! I layerd up some flowers from the Simple Stories Full Bloom collection on the top left and bottom right of my layout and then placed my title down and a couple other embellishments from that collection as well. I used my tape runner to secure the chipboard pieces just to reinforce them so they last longer over-time. I also popped up some of the embellishments using the white 3D Foam Squares that come in the box. These are my favorite foam squares!
Lastly, I added some sequins by Picket Fence to finish this one off!
