Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share a Set of Cards using the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and Hot Foil to Dress up my Cards!! I LOVE being able to Dress up my Die Cut Images and NOTHING is more BEAUTIFUL than a Debossed Hot Foiled Background!! Let’s get Started!!
I Started by Hot Foiling the Card Panels using the Papertrey Ink Ornate Swirls Hot Foil Plate and some Gold Stardust Hot Foil!! In order to Deboss the Hot Foiled Design, you’ll want to Heat Up your Plate the way you normally would and then once it’s ready, you’ll take your Plate Magnet Pick up Tool and pick up the Plate!! Place the Card Panel and your Hot Foil facing down on top of the Cardstock Panel onto the Glimmer Machine Base and then Place the HOT Foil Plate Design Side DOWN on to the Hot Foil and Cardstock Layer!! Place the Glimmer Sandwich Plates on top and run it through your Die Cutting Machine!! Then be prepared to be AMAZIED!! SWOON!! Removing the Hot Foil to reveal the Debossed Hot Foil Design is my FAVORITE Part!!
I repeated the Process again only for this Panel I used some Rose Gold Hot Foil for this Card Panel!! SWOON!! Just as STUNNING!!!
I KNOW its hard to see in the Photos, but the Design is Debossed and the Hot Foiled Design is Sunk into the Cardstock!! It’s my New FAVORITE Technique to use when Hot Foiling because the results are just AMAZING!! Then I used some Distress Oxide Ink to Ink the Panels to help bring out the Debossed Hot Foiled Designs!!
Next I created the Papertrey Ink Build-a-Turkey Die Cut Images!! I used some Pattern Paper along with some Cardstock to Die Cut all of the Pieces and then I adhered everything together using some Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Next used the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and added some to the Edges of the Feathers and let it dry completely!! Once Dry I used the negative Hot Foil Piece and rubbed it over the Feathers to add some Hot Foil Details!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE how this really dresses up the Image and gives them some Sparkle and Shine along with some Personality!!
I also repeated the process on some Papertrey Ink Decorative Bracket Die Cuts that I Die Cut from some of the same Doodlebug Design Gingham Patterned Paper that I Inked with Distress Oxide Ink and Gathered Twigs!! I LOVE the extra touch of Sparkle and Shine!!
I Adhered everything to the Card Panel using a combination of Ultra Bond Adhesive, Zots Bling Adhesive Dots and Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I added some Gold Hearts and a Mini Sentiment Tag!!
So FUN and this Cutie makes me SMILE!! He’d be PERFECT for several different types of Projects, like a Gift Box, Gift Tag or even on his own!!
I LOVE the addition of the Googly Eyes, but you could also use the Die Cut version if these aren’t your Jam!!
I Stamped and Embossed the Large Sentiment and adhered it to the Larger Bracket and adhered it to the inside of the Card!! So STUNNING, right!!?? I have a feeling the recipient will fell MORE than SPECAL receiving a Card Design like this!!
I repeated the Same process for the other Image only this Time I created a Girl Turkey!! I added a Die Cut Glitter Bow in place of the Pilgrim Hat!! So SWEET!!
This Little Sweetie could also be used for several different Projects, doesn’t just have to be used for a Card!
Again I added Googly Eyes to finish off the Design and I LOVE how this turned out!!
I Stamped and Embossed the Large Sentiment and adhered it to the Larger Bracket and adhered it to the inside of the Card!!
Then, I also created coordinating Envelopes using the same Ornate Scroll Foil Plate and the same Hot Foils in Gold Stardust and Rose Gold along with the Trinity Stamps A2 Envelope Builder Die Set!! I Die Cut the Liner Inserts from the same Doodlebug Design Pattern Paper and LOVE how these add that final Finishing Touch!! So BEAUTIFUL, Right!!??
So there you have it a Set of Cards using the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and Hot Foil to Dress up my Cards!! I LOVE being able to Dress up my Die Cut Images and NOTHING is more BEAUTIFUL than a Debossed Hot Foiled Background!! I hope these INSPIRE you to give these Techniques a try!!
