After this long winter, I’m dreaming of strawberry season! And what better way to prepare for spring than by sewing my new Strawberry Basket quilt! This quilt is made from two easy blocks that form a gorgeous secondary design when pieced into the quilt.
Choose juicy red and pink fabrics for the strawberries and pair them with fresh greens and crisp whites for a throw-size quilt that’s perfect for displaying in your home or taking on a picnic.
The Strawberry Basket Quilt finishes at 60” x 77”, and is traditionally-pieced and beginner-friendly! The Strawberry Basket Quilt features my To Grandmother’s House fabric designed by Jennifer Long for Riley Blake Designs.

Materials
Make this quilt using my To Grandmother’s House fabrics or choose fabric from your stash! Here’s what you’ll need:
Instructions:
1. Gather all your tools and supplies.
2. Download and print the pattern and letter labels.
3. Cut and label all your fabrics according to the directions. Use the cutting chart for fabric placement.
4. Follow the fully-illustrated, step-by-step instructions.
5. Be creative! Use your imagination to add embellishments, embroidery details and texture!
6. Display your finished Strawberry Basket quilt!

Jennifer Long grew up training to be a professional ballet dancer. She taught ballet and ran her own dance studio all the while sewing and designing costumes for herself and many of her collages and students. Jennifer is married and lives on a rural acreage in Prairie Canada with her husband and 4 children. She sold her studio to raise to raise her children and wanted to find dolls and toys for her children with healthy body images. She immersed herself Modern Rag Doll design and soon found she had a unique set of skills for Doll Making from all the years of costume design and aesthetic skills from the dance training. Her love of color and fabric has led her to become a professional Modern Rag Doll Designer and Quilt Pattern Designer designing not only under her own label (Bee Sew Inspired), but also for authors, fabric designers and International Companies around the world!
