HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
Larissa here today to share some FUN Fabric Projects today!! I LOVE making SWEET Gifts and these Lace Potpourri Sachets are PERFECT for Quick Gifts!! I created 2 SWEET Stenciled Fabric Cards using the Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive and some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo!! Showing you can add both Deco Foil or Deco Foil Flock to your Fabric Designs!!
Fabric Cards and Flower Sachets
Rose Fabric Card
Let’s start with this Card!! I LOVE the color combo of the Amethyst Watercolor and Jade!! Let’s get started!!
I started by cutting a piece of the Hot Melt Adhesive the same size as my A2 Cardbase!! Then I placed the rough side of the Hot Melt Adhesive down against my Cardbase and placed it into the Deco Foil Parchment Paper and ran it through my Laminating Machine!!
I peeled back the liner from the Hot Melt Adhesive to expose the adhesive that’s now melted onto my Cardbase!!
I Cut a Piece of Fabric Large enough to cover my Cardbase and placed in on top of the exposed Adhesive!! I placed it into the Parchment Paper and again I ran it through my Laminating Machine!!
The Fabric is now adhered to the Cardbase!! Next, I Die Cut the Fabric Panel using a TE Stitched Rectangle Die!! It cuts like butter and then you’re left with a BEAUTIFUL Stitched Fabric Panel!!
I wanted to Stencil a pattern onto the Fabric Panel!! I sprayed the backside of the Simon Says Stencil Bouquet of Roses with Pixie Spray and adhered it over the Fabric Panel!! Then I applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using the Stencil Pal!! I removed the stencil and set it aside to Dry!!
Once it’s completely Dry the Gel will be Clear and Tacky to the touch!! I cut pieces of both Amethyst Watercolor and Jade Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Foil into the Gel!!
This is what it looks like after it’s been run through the Die Cutting Machine!!
I wanted to add some Inking to the Flowers to help make them POP!! So I added some Wilted Violet and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks using an Ink Dauber!!
I stamped the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers Stamp Set using some Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and added some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels for some Dimension and Sparkle and then I added the Stenciled Fabric Panel onto a NND Frames & Flags Die cut from some Kraft Cardstock!! I adhered the panel onto a White A2 Cardbase and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

For my Second Card, I did everything the same except I’m using a different Fabric, Stencil, and Deco Foil Flock Sheets!! It’s a BEAUTIFUL way to add LOTS of Dimension to the Fabric Card Panel!!
I wanted to Stencil a pattern onto the Fabric Panel!! I sprayed the backside of the Simon Says Stencil Daisy Bouquet with Pixie Spray and adhered it over the Fabric Panel!! Then I applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using the Stencil Pal!! I removed the stencil and set it aside to Dry!!
Once it’s completely Dry the Gel will be Clear and Tacky to the touch!! I cut a piece of Deco Foil Flock Sheet in White Latte and ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Foil into the Gel!!
SWOON!! After removing the Flock Sheet this is the Design you’re left with!! SO MANY options here!! I decided it would be FUN to use Distress Oxide Inks to some Color!!
I placed the SSS Daisy Bouquet Stencil back over the Flocked Design and used Purple Tape to mask off the areas!! I used Hickory Smoke for the Daisies, Work Lipstick for the Barries, Peeled Paint, and Lucky Clover for the Leaves!!
I used Mustard Seed for the Daisy Centers and then I added some SSS White Pigment Ink over the Daisies to help make them POP!! I really LOVE the way this looks in real life!!
I stamped the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers Stamp Set using some Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and added some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels for some Dimension and Sparkle and then I added the Stenciled Fabric Panel onto an NND Frames & Flags Die cut from some Kraft Cardstock!! I adhered the panel onto a White A2 Cardbase and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

I wanted to find a way to add this BEAUTIFUL Lace Ribbon that I’ve had in my stash for years!! Then I discovered that you can use the AMAZING HeatnBond Ultrahold No Sew Adhesive and you can adhere it to your projects without having to sew it on!! SQUEAL!! I’m SO EXCITED about this and I can’t wait to find more ways to use this Lace Ribbon!!
It’s really quite simple!! Just Cut the Piece of HeatnBond Ultrahold Adhesive to the desired width and length of your Lace!! Then I placed a piece of Parchment Paper over the top and Ironed it as the directions stated!! I removed the backing and placed it on top of the Printed Canvas Fabric adhesive side down and ironed again with the Parchment Paper on top!! After Ironing the Lace Ribbon was adhered to the Printed Canvas Fabric and I was able to stitch the felt pieces to the Flower!!
In order to make it into a Potpourri Sachet, I simply backed the Flower with some Linen Fabric and stitched 3/4 of the way!! Added the Potpourri of choice and then finished Stitching the rest of the way!! Now you can either keep these BEAUTIES in your Card or Linen Closet or anywhere you’d like to freshen up!! Not only are they useful, but just look at how BEAUTIFUL they are too!! I made two different designs and I LOVE the POSSIBILITIES of being able to use Lace as a decorative detail without having to Sew!!
Here’s a close up look at the Lacy Potpourri Sachets!! These make GREAT little Gifts and are so easy to put together with almost any shape Die/Pattern you may have on hand!!
