Hi, Katrina from Paper, Scissors and Glue today to share some summer fun memories using DecoFoil. If you have pool, lake, or water pictures DecoFoil™ is a great way to accent your layouts with a water effect!
We don’t have a pool for the humans, but we have a kiddie pool for the dogs! And, well I might stick my feet in occasionally! I had fun capturing these pictures while the dogs were trying to figure out what to do after we threw the ball in the pool.

Project Instructions:
Start by laying out your supplies and figuring out the design of your layout. I thought it would be fun to have splashes coming out of one side. If I had used one picture, I may have placed the picture on top of the water splash and had the effect of “spraying” everywhere!
Turn laminator and let warm up at least 30 minutes to get it hot. This will give you a good foil coverage anytime you use the foil with laminator.
Find a cut file that you want to use and cut it of the DecoFoil™ Toner Sheets using a die cutting machine-manual or electric.
When die cut is finished, then place in the carrier sheet and then place the foil over the die cut. Close carrier sheet and run thru laminator. Repeat for any other colors of DecoFoil that you are using for die cuts.
TIP: I use an extra piece of cardstock under my die cut to give it more thickness when running thru the laminator. This helps with even coverage. I also run thru once face up and then again face down thru the laminator.TooltipText
Put layout together using a Sticky Tape Mini Runner along with foam squares. I actually used the 3D Foam Squares to put the bulk of my layout together. I like the 3D effect it gives to the theme of the layout.
