Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share some SWEET Flocked Shaped Critter Cards for those SPECIAL events that need to be CELEBRATED!! Nothing will bring a SMILE to someone’s face more than a FUZZY Critter holding a YUMMY Cupcake!!
Critter Cards with Flock
I started by creating my YUMMY Cupcakes using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Die Set!! There are SO MANY possibilities when creating these!! You can use Glitz Glitter Gels, Deco Foil on Toner Sheets or Toner Printed Patterned Papers that you Foil with Deco Foils just to name a Few!! Here’s how I created them!!
I Die Cut the Cupcake Base from some Chocolate Cardstock and Inked with some Picket Fence Distress Oxide Ink to add the look of Powdered Sugar!! I LOVE the extra touch the Inking adds to the Cupcakes!!
Next I added some of the Gina K Designs Silver Glitz Glitter Gel to the Cardstock using the Stencil Pal and sat it aside to dry completely!! Then I took the Cupcake Liner Die and Die Cut them out!! I LOVE the texture and Sparkle and it Die Cuts so AMAZING!! If you haven’t tried this technique, trust me once you start you’ll want to Glitz Glitter Gel ALL of the things!!
I also added some of the Brutus Monroe Gold Static Deco Foil Sheets to some of the Deco Foil Toner Sheets and ran it through the Laminating Machine!! The OPTIONS of Colors and Designs are ENDLESS here!! There’s a RAINBOW of AWESOMENESS to choose from and you can customize them for ANY occasion!!
Another FUN way to create the Cupcake Liners is by using Patterned Papers that are Toner Printed!! There are LOTS of options available and this SWEET Half Moon Set from Paper Smooches is the perfect scale for the Liner Die!! I took the Heart Pattern and Foiled it with both the Red and Turquoise Deco Foil!!
Another FUN way to use the Negative leftovers is to add them to the Deco Foil Toner Sheets and Run it through the Laminating Machine!! Then I cut a piece of Gina K Designs Sparkling Silver over the Foiled Toner Sheet and ran it through the Laminating Machine again for a Two-Toned Heart Design!! Turquoise with the Sparkling Silver Hearts!! SWOON!! Then see the leftover Sparkling Silver Deco Foil Negative leftover!! I’ll Foil that onto some more Deco Foil Toner Sheets and the process will repeat as long as I want!! One of the things that I LOVE about this technique is you can CUSTOMIZE your own Foil Papers by using the Negative leftovers!! It’s SO addictive, plus an ADDED BONUS is that you have NO waste!!
For the Frosting I wanted it to look as REAL as possible!! The NEW Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo makes this possible!! I started by applying some of the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo to a piece of White Cardstock using the Stencil Pal!! Then I took a Painting Spatula and created the swirls in the Duo Gel to replicate a Frosted Cake!! I set it aside to Dry Completely!!
Once the Gel was Dry I Cut a Piece of Opal Deco Foil and ran it through my Die Cutting machine!! SWOON!! This makes me SO HAPPY!! Now you can add Foil to Textured Foiled Designs!! See all of that texture!!?? I LOVE it and it really does look like Frosting!! I Die Cut the Frosting Die and then added some of the Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter to the Foiled Frosting with some iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!!
I added some of the Brutus Monroe Red Static Deco Foil Sheets to some of the Toner Sheets and ran it through the Laminating Machine!! Then I Die Cut the Strawberries from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Die Set and the Cherries from the Lawn Fawn I Scream, You Scream Die Set!!
Next I adhered some of the NEW Rina K Designs Electro-pop Neon Flock Loud Lime Sheets to a piece of Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! I Die Cut the Strawberry Greenery Tops and Cherry Stems from the Electropop Neon Flock Loud Lime Sheets!! Then Inked them with Distress Oxide Inks in Lucky Clover and Vintage Photo!! I adhered all of the pieces together using the iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Aren’t they CUTE!!??
Bear and Deer Critter Cards
Next to create the Fuzzy Critters!! There are so MANY possibilities here too and you can create these for ANY Occasion!! I HOPE you’ll be INSPIRED to give them a try!!??
I adhered the Tuscan Gold Deco Foil Flock Sheets to a piece of Kraft Cardstock with some of the iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! I then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! Then I removed the backing sheet and Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Die Set to create both the Bear and the Deer!!
I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks with an Ink Dauber to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut the layering pieces from White Latte Deco Foil Flock Sheets and Inked them with the same Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink!!
Then I adhered all of the pieces together using iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Then added some White Gel Pen Details and some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Noses for some Dimension and Shine!!

I then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! Then I removed the backing sheet and Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Die Set to create the SWEET Raccoon!!
I adhered the Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock Sheets to a piece of Red Cardstock with some of the iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! I then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! Then I removed the backing sheet and Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Die Set to create the Details for the Raccoon!!
I Inked the Pink Carnation Flock Pieces with Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Ink and the Red Ruby Flock Pieces with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Ink for some Dimension!! I think this step is optional, but personally feel it adds that extra WOW factor and really makes to FUZZINESS of the Images POP!! Almost drawing your senses in to WANT to touch them!!
I added a Daisy and Leaves to the ear of the Raccoon using a Die from the Lawn Fawn Butterfly Treat Box Die Set!! The Leaves were Die Cut from the NEW Rina K Designs Electro-pop Neon Flock Sheets in Loud Lime and Inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink!!
I adhered the Orange Glow Deco Foil Flock Sheets to a piece of Orange Cardstock with some of the iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! I then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! Then I removed the backing sheet and Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Die Set to create the Fox!!
I used Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide Inks with an Ink Dauber to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut the layering pieces from White Latte Deco Foil Flock Sheets and Inked them with the same Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink!! I Die Cut the Flower from some of the Pink Carnation Deco Foil Flock Sheets inking with Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Ink and the Leaves from the NEW Rina K Designs Electro-pop Neon Flock Sheets in Loud Lime and Inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink!!

I then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! Then I removed the backing sheet and Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Die Set to create the Details for the Raccoon!!
I Inked the Blue Sky Flock Pieces with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink for some Dimension!! I just LOVE these FUZZY Critters and I hope I’ve INSPIRED you to give them a Try!!??
