Hello! I’m sharing just a little more Christmas inspiration for you today with some Silver & Gold action!
I used some Therm O Web Toner Card Fronts, some fun dies from Pretty Pink Posh, Waffle Flower Crafts and Rubbernecker Stamps, and lots of pretty Silver, Gold and Magical Shattered Glass Foil!
The start of both cards was similar, foiling the Toner Card Fronts in Silver and Gold. And for this one I used both! I used strips of both colors and laid them in a random pattern over the card front and ran them through my Fuse.
I love the look of the mixed metals! So fun!
Then I foiled some Toner Sheets in silver and gold as well to use for die cutting as well as a base layer.
I decided to add a layer of Magical Shattered Glass over the top by stenciling on some Transfer Gel Duo and setting it aside to dry to tacky.
And then I used my Stencil Pal to apply pressure to transfer the magic over the top of the Silver and Gold Foiled layers. It just adds a nice layer of sparkle over the entire piece and it adds quite a bit of dimension.
While I was waiting for my bases to dry, I started cutting pieces from the silver and gold foiled Toner Sheets as well as some White Latte Plush Paper so I could mix and match as I put my die cuts together.
I used both liquid adhesive and foam tape to layer them.
And as I always do, when I cut my shiny layer for my card base, I cut some from the center. This frame I used for today’s project and when I cut the silver one, I just cut a rectangle that I could use later to cut small pieces from. I don’t waste much!
Then I just assembled all of my pieces! For this one, I wanted to pop up the frame and thought it would be cool if it looked like it was floating so I die cut a circle from acetate just a bit larger than the frame and glued it to the top. I also added a silver circle to the center. And for my sentiments I used these wonderful Word Dies w/Shadow… I love that the shadow layer is not huge so the entire word doesn’t take up a ton of space, but you can still do two layers… perfect if you want a foiled sentiment!
And this one I just popped the assembled die cuts directly to the base and added the sentiment over the top. I just love the Silver & Gold together!
That’s me for today! I hope you enjoyed it and hope your holidays have been enjoyable whatever it is you celebrate! Thanks so much for stopping. Please do come again soon!
