Hey crafty friends! This is Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook. It’s my turn to share a fun project in collaboration with Thermoweb and Avery Elle! Oh my goodness, it was so hard to choose what goodies to pair because it’s all amazing but I had fun creating and love the end result! Let’s take a look and then get started.

Products used today:
Deco Foil – iridescent and black
Laura Kelly Toner Sheets – baby swiss dots
Adhesive Transfers – Designs by Unity Sentiments 1
Ultrabond liquid glue pen
iCraft foam squares
Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheets
Avery Elle Banner Celebrations stamps and dies
Avery Elle Oval Scene dies
Glossy accents
Stardust Stickles

First things first, I turned my laminator on to heat up. Then I stamped images from Banner Celebrations and colored them with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and set them aside.

I chose a baby swiss dots toner sheet and ran it through my laminator with iridescent deco foil in a craft & carrier sheet next. Notice how much foil is left on the negative? Keep that for later, you can transfer it using a toner sheet for a super fun two-for-one deal!

I trimmed the foiled panel down to 4.25×5.5 inches and used the oval scene dies to cut from the center. Then I cut the same die from melon cardstock. I’m only using the frame this time but I saved the center for another project later. Then I ink-blended the foiled oval with light and dark teal inks for a little contrast.

Next, I layered everything together, since this oval is wonky, and lined the card front up with my grid mat to be sure things were in the right direction at least. Then I took the “thanks” from the Unity Sentiments 1 set, removed the backing sheet, and stuck it in place. I placed the oval in a craft & carrier sheet and ran it through my laminator.

Here’s a photo of what it looks like when you’re peeling away the adhesive transfer. See the ghost of adhesive that it leaves behind on the paper? That’s how you know it worked. If you don’t see it on your project, try moving it around in the light. Some angles shows better than others.

Next, I added a piece of black deco foil over the top, placed it back in the carrier sheet and ran it through the laminator one more time. Foiled perfectly!

Now, to start assembling my card! I used my UltraBond liquid glue pen to adhere the outer foiled panel to a card base, then I added the foiled frame before gluing the melon one over the top for a teeny bit of dimension. Then I finally added the blended ink oval to the center.

Last, I glued the accessories to my bear and then my bear to the banner. Then I added foam squares to the back of all of that and popped it in place in the oval focal point.

For finishing touches, I added glossy accents to the bear’s nose, bowtie and two stripes on his hat. Then I added stardust stickles to the pom pom of his hat and the frosting on the cupcake.

Is this card not the cutest?!? I just love it and had so much fun mixing and matching fun products from Avery Elle and Thermoweb! I hope you enjoyed it too!

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
