Hello friends! This week we’re offering two themes of projects…Nutcrackers and Christmas Trees! We hope you enjoy all the fun projects such as this adorable shaker card!
O’ Christmas Tree Shaker Card
Ellen here with a festive flocked shaker card. Can you believe that Christmas is around the corner?!
Today I have a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how I made this card.
First I applied the flock on Foam Adhesive Sheets. You first cut out a piece of foam a little bit bigger than your die. You peel off the backing paper (from the Foam Adhesive Sheets) and stick one side of the foam onto the flocked side of the Flock Transfer Sheets. Next, you run it through your die-cutting machine. When you revealed the flock you can die-cut the flocked foam like you do with paper.
Next, I did glue the transparency onto the paper with an Adhesive Dot Runner. Afterward, I placed the tree on the card base and a few elements on the window of the shaker.
I did cut a few strips from the Jumbo Roll Foam Tape (1/8 Thick). If the tape is too wide, cut it in half. The thickness of the foam tape is ideal for a shaker card.
As the last step, I applied the embellishments with the Zots Clear Adhesive Tape.
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy crafty day!
