Hello friends! Shemaine here today sharing a quick, cute card I created using our Time to Fly limited release Deco Foil toner sheets for Newton’s Nook week here on the Therm-O-Web blog.

A Hoppy Hello with Newton’s Nook Designs

For this card I got the idea of using my cloud dies from My Favorite Things and the grass dies to create a fun scene with butterflies bursting from behind. So I cut some kraft cardstock for dirt and green for grass.

Next, I stamped and embossed my image so I could color it in with Copic markers.

I stamped a few extra flowers to add to the grass.

Using some distress inks, I added color to the kraft cardstock.

Then using a Sakura White gel pen, I added some detail.

Now that my accents are finished, I am ready to foil. I let my laminator heat up for 30 mins, place the foil directly over the toner sheet and run through the laminator. I know this is a scary method….will it get jammed? Nope, hasn’t so far. Just make sure you load slowly and evenly.

And Ta-Da!!! I literally say that every time I peel back the foil and see my results.

Using Therm-OWeb’s XL tape runner I adhered the scene to the foiled toner sheet.

The finished card is a fun, sweet, Hoppy Hello for a friend!
