ColoriQue Black Diamond Ink

I Started by Die Cutting the Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Art Paper with a Stitched Rectangle Die and then placed a Stencil over the top and adhered it down using some Purple Tape!! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Broken China, Bundled Sage and Lucky Clover to ink the Design!!

Once the Stencil was removed, I added some water splatters for some Texture!!

I also used a Memory Box Text Stamp to add some Stamping with a distressed feel!! I then added some ColoriQue Black Diamond Ink Splatters and some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen Splatters and I love the look it adds to the piece!!

For even more Texture I placed the stenciled piece ontop of an Embossing Mat and placed the Stencil over top lining it up with the inked design!! I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine and Embossed the Design onto the Mixed Media Art Paper!! This is when you SQUEAL in delight with the AMAZING results you achieve!!

To finish off the Card I’ve Stamped and Embossed some Butterflies onto the Mixed Media Art Paper and Fussy Cut them out then used the Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks to color them!! I added some Black Gel Pen for the Body and added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to make the Body 3-D!!

I Die Cut some Circles from Gina K Designs Premium Cardstock in Luxury White and Black Onyx!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and sponged on some Distress Oxide Ink in Faded Jeans!! I added some iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to adhere the Sentiment Circle onto the Card front!! Adhering a  few Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals with some iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive!!

For my Second Card I used the same Floral Lace Stencil!! The AWESOME tip here is to make sure that the stencil has the Distress Oxide Ink Residue on it from Inking onto the Stencil for the first Card!! (You can also just add ink onto the Stencil if this is the only Card you’ll be creating.

I then placed it over the Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Art Paper and adhered it down using some Purple Tape!! I applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel using my Tonic Studios Pallet Knife!! Then removed the Stencil and set the piece aside to dry!!

You can see that the Ink Residue got transferred onto the Mixed Media Art Paper with the Transfer Gel and even though the color is light once it dries, it’s AMAZING the results you achieve!! Now I CAN’T WAIT to play with this technique some more!! Just IMAGINE all of the FUN you could have with this!!??

To finish off the Card I Die Cut some Circles and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! I wanted some Sparkle so I used the Tonic Studios Aqua Simmer Pen and Splattered it onto the Card front!! Then used some I added some iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to adhere the Sentiment Circle onto the Card front!! A few Studio Katia Iridescent Bubbles adhered to the center of the Flowers with some iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive finishes off the Design!!
