April Showers Mixed Media Project Instructions:

Start with the new Gina K Designs StampnFoil Stamp Set Butterfly Kisses and Die Set, Gina K Designs StampnFoil Stamp Set Where Flowers Bloom and Die Set,  ‘Brutus Monroe Raven Detail Ink’ and stamp on white cardstock using the Misti. Next, make several photocopies of these impressions. This is an alternate step if you do not have the Foil-Mates Detail Sheets.

Next using the amazing ‘iCraft Purple Tape’, Big Shot and the pages that were copied, cut out five sets.  This ‘iCraft Purple Tape’ is simply one of the most amazing things that has hit the crafting world.  It doesn’t stick to basically anything. And you can use it over and over again.

When you first begin it’s best to turn on your laminator. For the ‘Minc’ …heat up on setting 4. Take a piece of ‘Silver Shattered Glass’ iCraft Deco Foil Transfer Sheet’ and cut it in half.  Then placing in-between a piece of folded copy paper run it through the ‘Minc’ twice’  I debated on whether to color the flowers but they looked perfect just white and the Deco Foil.  The ‘Silver Shattered Glass’ captures the sun perfectly. Do the same for butterflies.  I’ve found it best to make several, in case anything doesn’t work out …you will have extras.

Next using brads assemble the flowers.  I had wooden fairy that she simply colored twice with a Black Stylefile marker.  To put everything into the right place I started placing items, using the Zot 3D Clear Adhesive Dots.  Accenting with some artificial beads, flower pieces, gems and twisted wire.

This project doesn’t take long to put together and is the perfect gift to keep or give away this upcoming Mother’s Day! #thermoweb #decofoil #ginakstampnfoil #zots #purpletape
