Hello there! Shemaine here sharing some Valentine card inspiration for him. Do you still hand-make your Valentine cards? I do, and these cards were super easy to create. You may not have the same dies that I used but I am sure you have something in your stash that works just as well. So let’s get started!
And while we’re mentioning it…not all Valentine cards must contain pink. In fact they don’t need any pink to still convey your love for a friend, spouse, family member…you name it. We’re sure you’ll find just the right person to give one to this year!

XO Card
Cutting flock with dies is super easy. You can choose to back the flock with Therm-O-Web’s Easy Cut Adhesive or Foam adhesive sheets if you want to be able to adhere the die-cut flat on your project. I this case I just used the flock so I could use small cuts of foam tape to pop it off the card base.
My card is an A2 size (4 1/2x 5 1/2) so I adhered a red piece of cardstock to the card base. Then I cut the plaid paper slightly smaller and adhered it with our foam squares for depth.
Next, I used the foam adhesive sheet and the ruby red flock to cut the heart embellishment. I also cut out the XO with some Diamond Press dies.
After adhering the embellishments I cut with the flock I needed a couple more hearts so I cut them using the black flock to finish off my card.
Love Card
I used a cover die with hearts to cut the black flock. You can see how awesome the detail is.
Next, I used our 3D foam squares to adhere it to the card base over the gold cardstock.
Next, I tied some bakers twine and tied a bow. Then I cut some patterned cardstock with the heart dies. Nothing says masculine better than plaid!
I arranged them on the card front with foam squares and cut out the sentiment.
We’d love to see what you’re creating with ThermOWeb’s Deco Foil Flock so be sure and tag us with #thermoweb and #decofoil when you post your creations.
