Make Your Santa Card Pop with Glitz and Deco Foil Flock

It’s all about Santa this week for ThermOWeb! He’s seriously one of my favorite guys! I’m pairing him with Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel and Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets to create a super sparkly winter scene!

I just love this cute winter scene! And it’s packed full with texture and sparkle! I used three pieces of white cardstock and covered them completely with iCraft 6×6 Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and transferred three colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets onto them.

I used Blue Sky, White Latte, and Ruby Red. The Blue Sky piece is for my background. I wanted to have some snow falling in the background so I sprayed the back of the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil with Pixie Spray and added Gina K Designs Turquoise Sea Glitz Glitter Gel over the flocked background with a Stencil Pal.

The Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets die cut so easily! I die cut the Ruby Red piece with a Reverse Scalloped Frame die Pink & Main and the White Latte piece with the Over the Hills die from LDRS Creative. I decided that since this is a winter card I needed a LOT of sparkle! I sprayed my die cut flock pieces with Silver Glitter Dust Spray and honestly, I wish I had remembered to spray my sky piece as well! I just LOVE this Glitter Dust Spray! I wanted to add more texture and dimension on my snowbanks, so I used a palette knife and added Gina K Designs White Glitz Glitter Gel along the top of the hills.

The Christmas Squad stamp set from Simon Says Stamp is one of my go-to Christmas stamp sets for cute images! I love it! It’s one of my staples when I take coloring on the go. I had so many images pre-colored and picked out some to add to my card. I added all of my elements together with iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive. This glue is so strong – it’s really my only option for liquid adhesives anymore!
