Llama Love Stuffie with HeatnBond Soft Stretch Instructions:
Following the pattern directions for cutting. Assemble as directed for ease of assembling the muzzle piece apply Soft Stretch™ Lite to the wrong side of muzzle fabric prior to cutting the piece out. Press cut muzzle piece in place on face fabric. Applique around edges of the muzzle with a zig-zag stitch, an open toe foot is ideal for this application. Finish llama as directed.
Create the perfect blanket. Going a little off pattern with this blanket cut 2 – 9-inch x 5-inch pieces of cotton fabric. 1- 8 1/2 inch x 4 1/2 inch piece of Stitch n Sew Fleece Sew-In High Loft. Trims cut 2 each @ 5 1/4 inch pieces or Pom, ribbon, and ricrac.
With top fabric layered on fleece sew pom trim to end of the blanket top using a zipper foot. Cut a 5-inch piece of Soft Stretch™ Lite 5/8 inch in half lengthwise, press to back side of velvet ribbon. Press velvet ribbon in place about 1/2 inch from sewn pom trim. Stitch ricrac in place 1/4 inch away from the velvet ribbon. Repeat on the other side of the blanket end.
Place blanket back with right side facing finished blanket top, stitch along sides with `1/4 inch seam allowance.
This creates a tube, turn it right side out.
Fold ends in and topstitch to close. Now we have one happy llama!
