We’re changing things up a bit around here..new decor…new designers. However designer Audrey Pettit isn’t new to us..in fact she’s been with me (Julia) for quite some time and we’re quite lucky to have her on our team gives she is one talented gal!
So join us today as we get to know Audrey Pettit!
Alright we asked Audrey if she would answer a few questions about herself…here’s what she shared with us…
- Tell us your favorite things to do when not crafting: Best scenario is a day out with friends, shopping or eating out, or just hanging out together. I also love to take walks with my dog, go junk hunting at my favorite thrift and antique stores, bake, and cook.
- What would be your all time favorite craft project: As much as I love papercrafts, I think my favorite project has to be one of my silly fabric folk art creations. Right now I’m crushing big time on a very primitive, yet girly, monster doll I’ve recently made.
- Where do you go for inspiration: I love looking on Instagram for inspiration. And I still find lots of great ideas for new projects and recipes on Pinterest.
- Give us your top 3 colors: I am a neutral loving girl, and as crazy as it may sound, two of my most favorite colors are brown and gray. Those are about the only two colors in my wardrobe, besides jeans, of course. And for a pop of color I absolutely adore lime green.
- Best or favorite drink: sweet tea, southern style
- Absolutely dream vacation: My dream vacation would be to go back to Hawaii and just lounge on the beach.
- What are you.. book reader/movie watcher: Most of my life I have been a serious book reader. But these days, I’m pretty much addicted to Netflix.
- Any celebrity crushes you would care to share: Robert Downey Jr. because oh, my gosh… that man is gorgeous. And I’ve had a serious crush on him since the 80’s.
- If you could what would be your favorite room to hang out in your home: My favorite room is the back corner of my house that I call my sunroom. It’s got windows spanning two full walls with a beautiful view out to the woods behind my house, and the light is always great in there.
- What is your favorite flower: I adore peonies and bearded iris. Two sort of old-fashioned flowers that I think are absolutely gorgeous.
