Hello there! It’s Andrea back to share some congrats cards for kids featuring Deco Foil and Glitz Glitter Gel.
Congrats Cards for Kids with Deco Foil
These cards will surely get kids excited and feeling proud! And they have the stuff kids love – rainbows and sparkle! Both cards feature the cute kiddos from Waffle Flower’s Yippee stamp set.
Boys with Fireworks Card
Boy, those glittery fireworks sure say “way to go!”, wouldn’t you agree? I’m sure any little boy would be delighted to receive this card!
I recently received Catherine Pooler’s Date Night Ink Collection and couldn’t wait to use it! I chose Cummerbund and In the Park for my background and blended them with brushes. To add that wow factor, I spread Gold Glitz Glitter Gel through Whimsy Stamps’ Fireworks Stencil. I just love all of that gorgeous sparkle!
For my sentiment I used Brutus Monroe Rainglow Foil Transfer Sheets and Deco Foil Toner Sheets. I first applied the foil to the toner sheet with my laminator and then die-cut it with MFT Stamps’ Congrats Die-namics. I love the colors of this foil, and the sparkly stars definitely add to that celebratory feel.
I trimmed down the stenciled panel and adhered it to a white card with Gina K. Designs White Foam Tape. I popped up those two boys, which I had colored with Copics, with Gina K. Designs White Foam Squares.
I die-cut a second “congrats” from white cardstock, adhered it behind the rainbow one with Ultra Bond Adhesive, and attached the layered die-cut to my card. I stamped a sentiment from the Yippee set, trimmed it with scissors, and popped it up with foam squares.
Sunny Slimline Card
How fun and bright is this card?! Talk about a ray of sunshine!
For this background I blended with the Chiffon and Catching Rays inks. Man, I love these happy colors! I added the sun beams with Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel through MFT Stamps’ Radiating Rays Stencil. I love that this gel picks up whatever color is underneath it. I splattered the panel with water and white paint for a bit more interest.
For my sentiment I again reached for Brutus Monroe Rainglow Foil Transfer Sheets and Deco Foil Toner Sheets. I used the same technique of applying the foil to the toner sheet and then die-cutting.
After trimming down the stenciled panel, I adhered it to a white card with Gina K. Designs’ Terrific Tape. I added those adorable kiddos (colored with Copics) with two layers of Gina K. Designs White Foam Squares.
I die-cut the shadow for the sentiment twice from white cardstock and adhered them onto my card with Ultra Bond Adhesive. Using the same glue, I affixed the rainbow word. I popped up a banner from the Yippee set with foam squares.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
