Welcome back! Today it’s me, Ellen, sharing how you can use Hot Foil and Flock. It is easy and works perfect for every season.

I am always looking to add special effects on my cards. Flock and Hot Foil are great option to do that!

I started out with the “Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets”. You can use them as they are, but I love to attach them on the “Deco Foil Foam Adhesive Sheets” and cut them in shape afterwards.

Of course it is great to highlight animals, plants or a text,… with the flock.

Next you can gently color all the elements with ink. I only color part of the shapes, so that the color transfers lightly. That’s how you can bring the illustrations to life.

Since I was cutting the illustrations from flock today, I added the text with Hot Foil using the “Deco Foil Hot Foil Rolls”.

Adding small elements with foil, provides a super professional look.

For the lights I used the “Deco Foil Transfer Sheets”. It’s a completely different technique than using the Hot Foil. If you want to know the difference, I recommend watching the following two videos; “Presenting Deco Foil Transfer Sheets” and “How To Use ThermOWeb Deco Foil HOT Foils“.
