Soft Stretch Appliqued Doll T-Shirt
Hi friends! Alicia here from Sew What Alicia. I am excited to be back with another fun tutorial just in time for Fashion Friday! And today I am going to a little twist on our theme and share a quick and easy t-shirt for a doll! Yep..not all fashion is for us peeps..this is for someone’s favorite doll. This applique doll t-shirt will fit a doll that is ~18″ tall, you know like the one’s with America in the name 😉 Here is a soft stretch appliquéd doll t-shirt tutorial.

Instructions:
Print the template and pin it to your knit fabric. The knit fabric should be folded so you cut two pieces from the pattern.
Pin the knit fabric together (right sides facing) and sew up the bottom of the arm and down the side. Then repeat this on the other arm. Lastly, sew along the top edge on both sides (leaving the neck hole open.) Turn the shirt right side out and then using your hem tape iron the arm holes under 1/’4″. You can use the HeatnBond® Soft Stretch Lite Hem tape for the neck and bottom hem or you can use your sewing machine.
From the flutter and float fabric fussy cut a hot air balloon. Then pin your hot air balloon to the shiny side of soft stretch and cut the image out.
Use your iron according to the package directions to attach the balloon to the HeatnBond® Soft Stretch and then to the shirt.
