Hey there! Chrissie here today! Graduation season is upon us and I find myself in need of Graduation cards. DecoFoil™ Transfer Gel and Foils to the rescue! Using Transfer Gel is so easy, but makes cards look like they were done by professionals (which, we all are anyways, right?!?!)! I’ve created a video to share how quick and easy it is to create a card that doubles as a gift card (or money) holder!
There are only a few steps needed to create!
Trim a piece of watercolor cardstock to 4 x 5.25. Secure onto covered surface with washi tape. Secure stencil down and add DecoFoil Transfer Gel, using a palette knife. NOTE: Clean off stencil and palette knife as soon as possible; the Gel dries quickly and will be sticky. It takes about an hour to dry. Once it is dry, place in parchment paper with Transfer foil on top of it. Run through a laminator. Ink up the areas around the foil and splash water onto the ink. Flick some sparkle pens onto card panel, too. Cut a strip of colored cardstock and stamp sentiment. Adhere edges, leaving room in the middle for a gift card or cash. Assemble card by adhering with 3D foam squares.
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to use #decofoil and #thermoweb on social media so we can see and share your creations!
