This little project is fun and can be taken on the go. I purchased Benzie Designs Wool Roving Scraps bag which gave me lots of colors to choose from. You can also look at their beautiful color palettes.
You can find more information about needle felting on YouTube. This type of needle felting is sometimes referred to as Felt Painting. I made a felt flower for this tutorial and, when I was finished, I added an additional felt backing to hide the wrong side of the felted piece. I glued it together with Therm O Web’s Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive. Their Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive is a great versatile adhesive and is a permanent bond when dry. I use it for so many of my projects!
