Hi there! I always have a notebook close by. I like to keep one in every room of the house so I can easily write down design ideas and sketch out dresses I plan to draft. I love using these cute fabric covered notebooks to inspire me and keep the ideas flowing. Today, I have a quick 10 minute tutorial on how to make this fabric covered notebook for you!
Fabric Notebook
Supplies Needed:
HeatNBond Soft Stretch Lite Fusible Adhesive
8″x12″ scrap of Art Gallery Fabrics Roses & Letters
Fabric Notebook Instructions
1) Cut a piece of Heat n Bond Lite large enough to wrap around your notebook. Apply to the notebook using a heat source. Trim excess away.
2) Remove the paper liner and place the fusible to the wrong side of your fabric.
3) Iron the fusible fabric onto the notebook.
4) Press for 10-15 seconds with your iron on medium heat. Remember not to use steam so that the paper doesn’t curl. Trim the excess fabric away.
These fabric covered notebooks also make great gifts!! I gave one to each of my kids’ teacher as a gift!
Happy Sewing!
xoxo, Becca
