Welcome back! This week here at Therm O Web we’re giving some love to some old favorites (and new!) that celebrate Love! I’ve used a few products from the shop that was new to me and I love them!
Deco Foil – You’re My Favorite Card
For this one, I used the Love and Kiss Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates Backgrounds foiled with Shattered Glass and added a sentiment from the new Love and Kisses Adhesive Transfers from the latest Therm O Web release!
I also used a few hearts from the Adhesive transfers and added some Enchanted Rose Deco Foil. For this background, I blended some Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides and splattered black and white acrylic paint over the top.
And for each of my cards today, I used some sweet images from Penguin Palace’s Inseparable stamp set… so cuuute!
The Enchanted Rose foil truly is enchanted… the colors it picks up depend on the lighting and angle at which you’re looking at it… you’ll see this in full glory in these next pics!
I mean… wow right?? This is the same Enchanted Rose Deco Foil… this time on the background and on the sentiment piece! I just have heart eyes over this foil!
Sometimes when I Deco Foil pieces with fine details it seems like the Deco Foil didn’t leave smooth lines. I find if I just use a very soft paintbrush and dust over it, it brushes aside foil that didn’t stick to the toner bits, but hung on ever so slightly to the foil that did.
I had a lot of fun foiling backgrounds and sentiments in various colors and die-cutting them out so I’d have lots to choose from when I sat down to create! You’ll be seeing more of these in the future.
Enchanting for sure…
This background was foiled with the Wild Cherry Deco Foil… So fun, right?
And for the sentiment when I ran it through my laminator I used the Wild Cherry for the hearts and covered the rest with Black for a two-tone sentiment. I ran them through only once. It’s ok if the foils overlap a little as long as you have the toner bits covered with the foil you want to transfer to each.
I love the contrast of the two colors…
And all of the shine is SO fun!
So that’s me for today! I had lots of fun creating with all of these products and I’ll be sharing some of the “leftovers” soon!
Many items I used today are on sale in the shop last I checked! Head over there for some great deals and these love-themed products aren’t just for Valentine’s Day… there’s always a good reason to let someone you love know that you do.
I’m looking forward to using them on lots of different themed cards in lots of colors soon… but first… Valentine’s Day…lol!
Thanks so much for spending time with me. I’ve included links below to the products I used today:
