Hi y’all it’s Becca from Sunflower Seams and I’m so excited to show you this quick and easy Halloween costume I made using deco foil and a free cape pattern from Simple Life Patterns.
Deco Foil Spider Web Halloween Capelet Tutorial
Halloween is such a fun time of year in our house. We love dressing up and this year my daughter wants to be a witch. Follow these 3 simple steps for the perfect witch cape!
Supplies:
Simple Life Pattern Company Juliette’s Capelet
1 yard Art Gallery Fabrics Black Pure Elements
Deco Foil Spider Web Halloween Capelet Tutorial Instructions
First, sew the Juliette Capelet according to the instructions in the pattern. This is a quick and easy pattern that only has a couple of steps.
Next, draw a spider web on the capelet with the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive and let dry for about 1-2 hours. After the liquid adhesive has dried, attach the DecoFoil to the liquid adhesive. I didn’t use heat when applying the DecoFoil because I wanted the spider web to be raised.
That’s it, I told you it was a quick and easy project! Now grab your little witch and head out for some trick or treating fun!
xoxo-Becca
