Hi! It’s Lisa from Quilty Zest and I have a new spring project to share with you! While the weather here in SW Michigan hasn’t quite warmed up for good yet, trees are budding and the birds are chirping! I used that as my inspiration to create some Canvas Bird Art!
I’ll be sharing how to make these two pieces in my upcoming Facebook Live in the Therm O Web Craft Room Facebook Group! Join me tonight at 7:30 PM CDT as I share the steps to make these two pieces of wall decor. They’d be fantastic to brighten up a wall in your house, or even as a mother’s day gift!
All you need are fabric scraps, felt, HeatnBond Lite Sewable, Fusible Fleece, Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive, Pressing Paper, and canvas frames (I used 8×10 and 6×8 frames from Dollar Tree).
Download the applique templates here.
Don’t forget to join the Therm O Web Facebook Group prior to our live by clicking here and answering the questions to join!
These projects could even be no-sew if you wanted – I added some free motion “sketch” stitching to create a whimsical looking “outline” on my pieces.
Hope to see you during the Facebook Live!
