Big Top Circus Birthday Card

Paper piecing with dies can be a great way to add a little extra dimension to your cards and scrapbook layouts. For this card, I used that technique with a few of the dies and our Deco flock. I’m thrilled to show you how I created this card using this technique. Let’s get started.

I started off by cutting the Deco flock and cardstock with the Birthday Decoupage dies.

Next, I wanted to add some dimension with the Deco flock to the seal 3D sticker. I backed the Teal Waters Deco Foil Flock with some Easy-Cut Adhesive Sheets.

Using our Easy-Cut Adhesive is a great way to adhere to intricate dies like these.

Once the dies cuts are cut, peel off the back of the adhesive and stick. So easy! Look how great that flock looks on the 3D sticker.

Next, I used the 3D foam squares to adhere to the circus tent die layers. For dimension, I cut the die twice and layered it.

Using the same 3D foam stickers, it’s time to assemble;e the card to the 4×6 card base from the Cards for Kids card kit.

Now, layer the seal over the circus tent using the 3D foam squares.

I die-cut another piece of cardstock that went well with the other pattern papers and adhered to that also using the 3D foam squares.

Finally, I adhered the layered cardstock to the card base and finish it with the sentiment sticker. Here’s a look at the finished card with all the products used to create it.

So fun right? Use Deco Flock with your die cuts to add pops of color and dimension to your next project!

Thank you for stopping by today.
