Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here today to share a coupe Berry Sweet Thank You Cards using both Deco Foil and Deco Foil Flock to Step-Up the Texture and Shine!!

Plus if you ask me the Strawberries look so REAL you almost want to Pick them right off the Card and Eat them!! Now if only I could add that REAL Strawberry Smell!! Lol!! Let’s get started!!

Berry Sweet Thank You Cards

I Started by Creating all of the Die Cut Images for the Focal Images of my Card Designs!!

I Adhered some Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock Sheets to some Red Cardstock using some Easy-Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to Burnish it into the Adhesive on the Cardstock!! I removed the Backing and was left with a STUNNING Ruby Red Flocked Cardstock that I Die Cut all of the Lawn Fawn Strawberries from!!

Next I Adhered some Green Envy Deco Foil Flock Sheets to some Green Cardstock using some Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to Burnish it into the Adhesive on the Cardstock!! I removed the Backing and was left with a STUNNING Green Envy Flocked Cardstock that I Die Cut all of the Lawn Fawn Leaves and Greenery from!!

I Adhered some Sunshine Yellow Deco Foil Flock Sheets to some Yellow Cardstock using some Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to Burnish it into the Adhesive on the Cardstock!! I removed the Backing and was left with a STUNNING Yellow Flocked Cardstock that I Die Cut all of the Lawn Fawn Strawberry Bloom Centers from!!

I LOVE to add Shading and Dimension to my Deco Foil Flocked Die Cuts as I think it really adds some LIFE to them!! This step isn’t necessary though, it’s just a personal preference!! I inked with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and then added some Salt Water Taffy Distress Paint Splatters!! SWOON!! I LOVE how they turned out!!

I added some Lucky Clover Distress Ink to the Deco Foil Flocked Leaves and Greenery and then I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some added Texture!!

Next I wanted to Die Cut the Strawberry Tops from some Deco Foiled Toner Sheets, but I wanted a Pattern to them so this is where I created my own PERSONALIZED Deco Foil Sheet by using a Laura Kelly Toner Sheets in Baby Swiss Dots and Foiled it with some Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil!!

I then used the Negative Foil and Foiled it to some Deco Foil Toner Sheets to create my own PERSONALIZED Deco Foil Sheet!!

Then after removing the Film I cut a piece of Deco Foil in Lily Pad large enough to cover the Foiled Toner Sheet and then ran it through the Laminating Machine!!

SWOON!! This is the Results!! My Own PERSONALIZED Foil!! I don’t know about you, but this is one of my FAVORITE things to create!! There are SO MANY possibilities to creating your Own PERSONALIZED Foil Sheets when you consider all of the different Toner Sheets and Deco Foil Colors available in the Therm O Web Store!! I REALLY hope you’ll give this Technique a Try!! Then I Die Cut all of the Lawn Fawn Strawberry Tops from the Deco Foil Toner Sheet!!

I Created my Giant Strawberry Shaker Image and filled it with some Strawberry Shortcake Clay Embellishments along with some Black Clay Hearts (to resemble the Strawberry Seeds) and some Iridescent Mini Hearts all from Trinity Stamps!! Then I adhered the Deco Foiled Toner Sheet Strawberry Top and added a Strawberry Bloom and Leaf using some Zots Bling Adhesive Dots!! I added the other Deco Foil Flocked Strawberries, Leaves, Blooms and a Stamped and Embossed Garden Sign to finish off the Design!! A few Fairy Rock Rhinestones adds a sprinkling of Sparkle!!

Here’s a Close up look at those Deco Foil Flocked Strawberries and Leaves along with that SWEET Shaker Strawberry!! It really is going to send LOADS and HAPPINESS to the Recipient!!

For my second Card I’m creating a Fresh Strawberry Cluster over a Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop that I inked with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Then Splattered with some Water Droplets and let Dry!!

I adhered to all of the Images using some Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive, Foam Tape for some Dimension in areas and some Zots Bling Adhesive Dots to adhere the Strawberry Blooms and Trinity Stamps Fair Rock Rhinestones!! I Stamped and Embossed the “Thank You” Sentiment and my Card was finished!!

SWOON!! Don’t they look YUMMY Enough to EAT!!?? I think so and I’m just SQUEALING with delight!! I couldn’t be more HAPPY with how these cards turned out and I hope I’ve INSPIRED you to give some a try!! Creating with the Deco Foil Flocked Sheets and creating my Own Personalized Deco Foil Sheets are some of my FAVORITE ways to add some LIFE to my Die Cut Images!!
