Hello Therm-O-Web friends! Shemaine here today sharing a couple of cards I made using our Toner Card Fronts and Deco Foil Transfer Sheets. I am always looking for fun ways to show you how to create with our Toner Card fronts that are quick and easy. Today’s tip is about adding color with a couple of different mediums. Let’s get started!

For the first card, I chose to use Distress Oxide ink in one of my favorite colorsĀ Uncharted Mariner. Using a blending brush, I inked the entire toner card front from the Mod Dots collection. I made sure to blend the ink evenly. A little goes a long way with the Distress Oxides.
Then to add more dimension, I placed a fun stencil over and then applied the ink again.
Now you can see the stars on the card front. Then I wiped it with a paper towel really well before adding the foil.
I wanted a tone on tone look so I chose the Deep Blue Deco Foil Transfer foil.
After I foiled the Toner Card front, I mounted it onto a card base with a black background and chose the sentiment I wanted to use. I cut the shadow layer with vellum and the sentiment in white so it would stand out.
Next I die cut a vine with a piece of solid toner card front that I foiled with our black Deco Foil transfer sheet.
Next, I die cut some flowers from Spellbinders to accent the vines and added some bling.
The finished card looks amazing with these colors.
The finished card turned out really pretty.
For the second card, I chose to color the toner card front design with a couple of my Copic markers.
Once I finished coloring, I used the same Deep Blue Deco Foil transfer sheet to foil the Toner Card Front.
The result with the Copic colors I chose really turned out great.
Next, I chose the sentiment for this card and cut the shadow layer in vellum and then cut the sentiment out of the same toner cad front I foiled in black. I love the result of this contrast from the card base. The sentiment really stands out on it’s own in a way that I don’t need to add any other embellishments. To mount it the the card I cut up our 3D foam squares into smaller squares and adhered them to the back.
The finished card is pretty cool I think.
I love the way the foil looks on this one with the Copic colored in areas.
Here are both cards together.
I hope that you will give this technique a try with your Toner Card Fronts. If you are using other mediums, be sure and share them with us by tagging your social posts with #thermoweb #decofoil #tonercardfront
