Hello Therm-O-Web friends. Shemaine here today sharing a New Year’s card that I created using Hot Foil and Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts. I don’t know about you but my holiday card list keeps growing every year and I seem to still miss getting a few cards in the mail before Christmas. So for those people, I make and send New Year’s cards.
To start my cards I chose a hot foil plate background from Pinkfresh to pair with our Hot Stamp Foil in Gold Stardust. I cut my cardstock that I would be foiling at 4 1/3 X 5 1/2 and lay it over the hot foil. Using my craft knife and ruler from OLFA, I can cut my foil to the length I need without waste. I absolutely love this craft knife.
After foiling the image with my Glimmer, I pull away the foil to reveal my design. So pretty!
And the detail of the foil!
Next using my Fuse, I foiled a toner card front with the same Hot Foil, yep you read that right. The Hot foils work with Toner sheets!
Next using some number dies I cut the 2024 from the foiled toner sheet and in fuschia cardstock.
Once I assembled the numbers with regular adhesive, I used foam squares from Gina K Designs to adhere to the card base. I love the 1/4-inch thinner style of these and that you can cut them down to a smaller size.
Next, using the Ultra Bond adhesive pen (which I love) I added some bling. And finished with a stamped sentiment from Spellbinders.
The finished card is festive and the 2024 really pops thanks to the hot foil.
I hope this card will inspire you to send a few Hot Foiled New Year’s cards of your own!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
